Rubi's Spa is an all-inclusive luxury villa resort and spa offering vacations to discriminating female adults who seek the ultimate in spa vacations with gorgeous gentlemen company in a paradise destination. We make a good faith effort to accurately describe the luxury accommodations (the "Property") but, since they are privately owned, we cannot be responsible for changes to decor or minor amenities. We cannot be held liable for any inaccuracies in these descriptions, written or verbal, or the condition or safety of the destination.

Reservation Process

Use our handy online reservation form to request the reservation in the Property of your choice;

• One of our friendly agents will reply, typically via email, to your reservation request where they will confirm availability and pricing;
• To guarantee a reservation, we require a 50% rental deposit, execution of our rental agreement and providing us with a security deposit. These must be received within seven (7) days of your reservation request;
• Once the deposit and executed agreement is received, we will confirm the reservation via email and provide an electronic receipt of your payment. We will also introduce you to the assigned supervisor of the Property who will help you with any additional details related to the reservation. Please retain this information for your records;
• The remaining fees due for the Property rental will include any applicable food/beverage costs, taxes, ground transportation (if requested) and a mandatory staff gratuity. These remaining fees are due 45 days prior to your arrival date.
• If we do not receive your initial deposit, rental agreement or final payment as specified we reserve the right to cancel your reservation and retain all funds paid.

Cancellation Process

Once reservations have been confirmed, all monies are committed to the rental and no cash refunds are available. We will provide 80% credit of these monies for up to one (1) year against a future reservation providing a cancellation is received no less than 70 days prior to arrival, after which time no credit will be provided. However, 100% of any security deposit will be refunded upon any cancellation prior to arrival.

A full refund is available if the villa is determined by us to be unrentable due to some unforeseen circumstances. For peace of mind, we highly recommend you purchase trip cancellation insurance from your travel agent or broker.

We are a private vacation resort and luxury villa providing all inclusive vacation villa and spa packages with the services of a personal companion. All payments made are made for those services only, without exception. Any contact beyond this which may occur between visitors and personal companions or employees is strictly a personal matter and choice between these consenting adults. All personal companions are verified as being of legal age (18 years or older) and we are not tolerant of anyone seeking information on juveniles under any circumstances.

Terms Overview

The following is an overview of our complete terms and conditions, which are contained in a Rental Agreement you will be required to execute as part of the reservation process. The written and executed Rental Agreement will take precedence over this overview in case of any dispute.

The Rental Agreement is written between you as the renter and Sistema Cielo Rojo, S.A. (SCR) a company organized under the laws of the Dominican Republic to provide all operational services for the Property.

Currency

All charges and payments are in U.S. dollars. Wire transfer, traveler’s check, money order, cashier’s check, personal check, or Visa, MasterCard, American Express are the only acceptable forms of payment. Credit cards require an additional four percent (4%) administrative fee. Other forms of payment are not acceptable without prior agreement by SCR. Full payment for all incidental expenses, including food and alcohol, are required before check-out.

Meal Plan

We offer a comprehensive meal plan which is mandatory for guests at the villa. Our meal plan is designed to provide you with a broad array of fine foods and beverages throughout your stay. The meal plan covers all three daily meals as well as an array of snacks (hot and cold) offered virtually any time.

Our menu is as widely varied as the cuisine of the island; fresh seafood, lobster, beef, pork, chicken and even goat (which is very tasty). The food plan includes complete breakfasts, lunches, sit-down dinners and snacks available throughout the day. A sample menu is provided as part of the reservation confirmation so you can adjust it to fit your individual tastes and needs (remember to highlight food allergies).

Gratuities

The staff members at the Property are all exceptionally hard working and dedicated to your total enjoyment, satisfaction and relaxation during your vacation with us. To help compensate them for their extraordinary efforts we require a minimum gratuity of 10% which will be shown on your invoice. We charge this in advance to help you budget all anticipated expenses in advance.

Taxes

By law we must charge a 16% tax (called ITBIS) on all services at the Property.

Check-In / Check-Out

Check in time is 3:00pm on the day of arrival and check out is 11:00am on the date of departure unless special arrangements are made in advance.

External Service Providers

As a courtesy to our clients, we provide access to external service providers including, but not limited to, local ground transportation, spa services, entertainment and excursions. You should understand that we are bound by agreements with these service providers to collect payments in advance for selected services. However, we have no authority over the actual pricing of these services and makes no warranty, written or implied, as to the actual fees you will be charged at the time the services are utilized. As an additional courtesy, we will make reasonable efforts to inform you of any significant price changes but changes in those prices will not terminate, cancel or modify your reservation commitment.

Waiver and Release from Liability

YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO EXECUTE A WAIVER AND RELEASE FROM LIABILITY AS PART OF THE RESERVATION PROCESS. As an overview, all guests in the Properties will be required to waive and release, indemnify, hold harmless and forever discharge the Property owner, SCR and their respective owners, agents, staff, employees, officers, directors, affiliates, successors and assigns, of and from any and all claims, demands, debts, contracts, expenses, causes of action, lawsuits, damages and liabilities, of every kind and nature, including any claims of owner or employee negligence, whether known or unknown, in law or equity, that you ever had or may have, arising from or in any way related to participation in any of the events or activities, and for the duration of the stay at the Property, conducted by, on the premises of, or for the benefit of, the Property provided that this waiver of liability does not apply to any acts of gross negligence, or intentional, willful or wanton misconduct.

Special Events

Weddings and other special events will involve bringing in outside services such as caterers, bartenders, cooks, musicians, servers, etc. at our sole discretion. All special events must be arranged through us and additional fees paid to us prior to the special event. The exact pricing for the coordination of these special events depends upon the event itself and will be quoted as requested and prior to your reservation commitment. Additional contractual arrangements may also be necessary.

Privacy Statement

We are committed to protecting your privacy on our website while creating technologies designed to ensure you a peaceful, secure and powerful online experience.  Throughout our site you will be able to review all aspects of our services without giving us any personal information.  While we would like to know you personally, we understand one of the benefits of an online experience is the anonymity of it.  We promise to do our best to protect this.  However, sometimes you may request additional information through our web site and, of course, to adequately respond to this we will need gather specific individual information.

Your Personal Information

When required, we will ask you to voluntarily provide information that will identify you as an individual (personal information) including how to contact you directly.  We will request this information should you desire inclusion into our various information services such as newsletters, advisories and mailing lists.  When information is requested, the form will indicate what information is mandatory and which is optional.
